Lisette Bustamante began her entertainment career straight out of high school, and in the years since she’s worn a number of professional hats including dancer, choreographer, artistic director, songwriter, music video director and movement coach. She’s danced alongside superstars such as Madonna, Gwen Stefani, Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson and Usher on stages all over the globe, and has choreographed for Pink, Prince, Britney Spears, Ricky Martin and Jennifer Lopez. She’s been featured in commercials for Gap, Pepsi, Pringles, iPod and Sprite, and has choreographed for film and television, with credits including supervising choreographer on America’s Best Dance Crew.
Most recently you can catch her work on Ricky Martin’s “One World” Tour, and on his recent performance on American Idol.
Four years ago, Bustamante co-founded Creating Opportunities, a mentoring company that offers classes, seminars and other programs for young dancers and choreographers.
Lisette made her debut as a host and mentor to talent of all kinds on AMC’s “SHOWVILLE”, where each week she coached small town talent and worked with them to be the best they could be and help them achieve their lifelong dreams.
As a master teacher, dance educator, choreographer and speaker, Lisette has traveled all around the globe working with thousands of dancers, and is currently featured as a master teacher on Artists Simply Human Dance Convention.
With over 15 years experience in the arts, entertainment and music world, her approach is to give people the permission to express themselves, find where their strengths are, and share those gifts with the world. She has recently launched her coaching program for artists, “Activating The Artist”, where she coaches artists of all mediums on how to create a career that they love.
