Scholarship Program

  • To be eligible to audition for scholarships, dancers must be registered for the full event. Observers, Teachers and Studio Representatives are not eligible to audition for scholarships.
  • It is at the discretion of the Teacher or Studio Representative to determine which class level to place each participant. All dancers must, however, audition in their current age division (7-10 years of age, 11-14 years of age or 15-21 years of age). Dancers ages 22 and up are not eligible to audition for scholarships.
  • If you receive a scholarship, it cannot be used for any event other than what is specified on the scholarship.
  • Scholarships must be used before the expiration date listed on the scholarship. NO EXTENSIONS, NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • Scholarships are non-transferable and cannot be combined with other discounts, NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • Scholarships received when a dancer is registered with a studio, may not be valid when registering as an independent or with another studio without written consent from the original studio director.  NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • If you are not auditioning, you may not attend the scholarship audition. This includes Teachers, Studio Representatives, Observers, and other registered dancers.
  • The number of scholarships awarded in each city will vary depending upon the level of dancers and number of attendees.
  • Audition numbers must be worn during all classes and at the scholarship audition. Scholarships will be awarded to dancers based on class performance, as well as the scholarship audition.
  • Only one scholarship may be used per dancer per event.
  • Scholarships may not be applied toward the Early Bird Discount Rate, and scholarship recipients may not take advantage of the multi city dancer discount.
  • If you have been awarded ASH Apprentice in one city, you may not audition again in another city during the same season.
  • If you have been awarded ASH Apprentice Runner-Up in one city, you may audition again during the same season.

Ash AssistantProgram

What is an ASH Assistant?

ASH Assistants are an elite group of dancers invited to tour with, assist, and be mentored by Artists Simply Human’s esteemed faculty of world renown choreographers for one full season. During the tour season that ASH Assistants are on full scholarship, they will learn routines specifically choreographed for them by the ASH faculty that they will perform in both the Welcome Show and Closing Show in every city. Additionally, they gain an inside perspective of the dance industry and what it takes to become a professional. Becoming an ASH Assistant is a life changing experience, and is the highest scholarship presented by Artists Simply Human.

How Do I Become An ASH Assistant?

To become an ASH Assistant, you must first be named an ASH Apprentice or ASH Apprentice Runner Up during the 2016/2017 Tour, and then audition at Artists Simply Human’s Nationals.  At Nationals, the ASH Assistant audition consists of ballet, contemporary, hip hop, improv and solo performance. For more information regarding the ASH Assistant program, please email info@ashproductions.com.

Your staff, your faculty’s attention to detail, encouraging
individuality and dancing "outside of the box". My daughter
