Registering for the Convention is required in order to participate in any other portion of the event. The Convention Fee includes all convention classes, including scholarship auditions. The Convention Fee does not include the ASH Assistant Audition Fee, the ASH The Company Audition Fee, theCompany Intensive Fee, Open Competition Fees, or Gala tickets.
Keep in mind that the number of registrations we receive and the number of Open Competition routines that are registered dictate the times on the schedule. Since the Early Bird Deadline is not until May 30, 2025, we have no way to accurately estimate the start and end times of any portion of the event until the release of the schedule on June 11, 2025.
In general, if you are registered for all 4 programs offered at Nationals, be prepared to arrive early in the morning and be finished later in the evening.
Unlike the regional tour which is non-competitive, our Open Competition schedule is grouped by age and category (i.e. duet/trio, groups, etc.) so no scheduling requests can be accepted.
An introduction to the dance convention experience, Mini Movers is designed for Ages 3-7 and includes ASH Swag, one complimentary Observer band (for a parent/guardian) that can be used for Mini Movers classes only and does not grant Observer access to any other ballroom.
Open Classes
All registered dancers (ages 7+) are eligible to attend Open Classes. You must have your wristband on to attend class, however scholarship numbers are optional.
Teachers
Collab Class
Join the entire event Faculty for collab class! Each Faculty member will teach a section and combine them together to create one fun, collaborative combination to wrap up classes!
Parent Class
Parents, it’s your turn to show off your best moves in a fun and encouraging environment! Don’t miss out on learning some new and popular dance steps while having a great time! Observer band required to attend.
ASH accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, checks or money orders. Checks or money orders must be postmarked before the Early Bird Discount Deadline in order to secure the Early Bird rate. If a check is returned, you will be assessed a $30.00 fee. Only cash and credit cards are accepted when registering at the door or paying a final balance upon check-in at Registration.
*All funds must be paid in U.S. currency only. No International, Canadian or Foreign checks will be accepted.
Unless ASH is forced to cancel due to Acts of God, CDC, local, state, or federal government mandates, ASH will not provide a refund under any circumstance. If the event is held and a dancer cannot attend due to injury or illness, you must contact the ASH Office at least 24 hours prior to the start of the event. ASH will issue a credit statement to be used up to one year from the date of issue for convention and/or performance showcase fees provided the dancer submits a doctor’s note within 30 days via email to info@ashproductions.com.

In order to be eligible for “Studio of the Year”, a studio must register the following minimum number of students in the Convention and routines in the Open Competition.
All eligible studios will perform all required routines in the Open Competition. Studios may register more routines than the minimum number required, however, only the top scoring 10 solos/duets/trios, 5 small/large groups, and/or 1 production will be counted towards the overall score. The combined scores of all the required routines will determine the studios that move on to the “Semi-Final Round”. Finalists will be announced during the awards ceremony at the end of the competition.
Each studio qualifying for the Semi-Final round will then re-perform the top scoring solo/duet/trio (1) and 3 small/large groups, and/or production. These 4 routines will then be scored again at the Studio of the Year Dance Off.
The Studio of the Year will be announced during the Gala.
Please Note: The Studio of the Year competition prize encompasses all Open Competition prize money. The Studio of the Year will forfeit all other winnings.
